VCST - Pyung Control System

Electrical control for a transport system within a full production line for gear manufacturing for VCST. The scope included electrical design, PLC programming, and system visualisation, as well as project management and on‑site commissioning. The mechanical system was delivered by FlexLink.

Nexperia Itec - diebonder

Nexperia ITEC’s die-bonders and wire-bonders have been in the field for ten years, but it was decided to thoroughly scrutinize a number of modules of the Adat3 platform. Lowering costs was the primary goal. Using the ‘childishly simple’ DFMA method carried out by ACE, the price of the transport module was reduced by nearly a third.

Gear and shaft assembly

When mounting a gear to a shaft, major problems can arise, such as misalignment of the gear on the shaft or incorrect fit of the spline due to manufacturing or mounting issues.

NAVIGATION SYSTEM INTEGRATION

For this project, ACE formed a development team in Eindhoven together with sister company Brace Automotive Development. With another two resident engineers on site at the end customer, they took care of a flawless integration of the navigation system. As an integrator, ACE was in close contact with the development departments of our tier 1 customer and the OEM end customer. A good example of ACE hybrid services.

CRYOSTAT VIBRATION ISOLATION

For improved subatomic particle research at Leiden University's physics faculty, ACE has designed a construction that reduces the vibrations of the cryostat. A multidisciplinary team of ACE engineers designed and realised a solution for vibration isolation with a double frame.
