Mechanical Design Engineer

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you contribute to the development of advanced machines and components, working closely with experienced engineers in an international and dynamic environment. What will you do?

• Developing designs in a 3D CAD environment
• Creating and modifying 2D documentation (part and assembly drawings) and other project‑related documentation
• Supporting design engineers in identifying and analysing design bottlenecks from concept phase through to project completion
• Adapting and modifying concepts according to customer or supplier requirements
• Performing required mechanical calculations (e.g. bolted connections)
• Collaborating with team members and other multidisciplinary teams

What do you bring?

• Higher technical education, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position
• Proven theoretical and practical experience in precision mechanics
• Experience with 3D CAD tools (Unigraphics / Siemens NX, Inventor, CATIA)
• Experience working with PLM systems
• Ability to set priorities and plan your own work effectively
• Strong analytical thinking skills
• Flexibility and the ability to work both independently and within a dynamic, multidisciplinary team
• Good command of the English language, both spoken and written
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
