Philips Healthcare provides a new range of interventional X-ray inspection systems featuring the Azurion FlexArm. The ceiling-mounted FlexArm represents a revolutionary new approach, offering exceptional positioning freedom for medical teams.

Launched in January 2019, Azurion is Philips’ latest generation image-guided therapy platform. It enables physicians to provide superior patient care while optimizing laboratory productivity.

ACE developed all the covers for the C-arm unit and the ceiling mount, successfully translating Philips Design's aesthetics into a fully industrialized housing.

ACE was responsible for the following activities in this project:

  • Pre-development / concept phase
  • Design engineering
  • Prototyping and functional testing
  • FMEA analyses / design review / DFM (Design for Manufacturing)
