Die Bonder for semiconductor industry

The project consisted of the development a new version of Die bonder with cost price reduction. Using DFMA methodology, a redesign occurred in several modules. The results were approximately 30% parts reduction that led to a 28% cost reduction.

A die bonder is a machine that solders or glues semiconductors (dies) onto carrier (lead frame).

Develop Dry etching machine

The project consisted in developing a new type of dry etching machine. This project was in co-development with our client. From concept to TPD until on-site installation and commissioning.

A dry etching is a process to remove material from substrate using energetic plasma or gas-phase chemical reactions. It is essential for manufacturing semiconductors.
