Oprichting

ACE development & engineering werd opgericht in 1977 als een breed georiënteerd ingenieursbureau. De naam ACE was ontleend aan het Engelse “Associated Consulting Engineers”.

Vanaf het begin lag de nadruk op intensieve samenwerking met opdrachtgevers en locatie-onafhankelijke technische consulting (detachering en interne projecten).

80’s

Groei

Door de snelle groei werd een afsplitsing gemaakt van de werktuigbouwkundige en elektrische activiteiten met het hoofdkantoor in het hart van de Nederlandse industrie, te weten regio Eindhoven.

90’s

Geografische uitbreiding

Daarna volgde een fase van geografische uitbreiding. Fysieke nabijheid bij de opdrachtgevers bleek van groot belang voor een effectieve projectuitvoering. Er werden diverse regiokantoren geopend.

00’s

concentratie

Met de komst van snelle digitale communicatienetwerken werd een concentratieslag gemaakt in het aantal vestigingen. De regio’s werden vergroot en kennis en capaciteit werden geclusterd in grotere kantoren.

10’s

business units

Tien jaar na de clustering van expertises in adviesgroepen werd de vestigingsstructuur verlaten en werd ingezet op markt- en technologie-gerichte business units.

Kantoor Polen

ACE opent nieuw kantoor in Poznań, Polen.

23’

Groei

ACE development & engineering blijft inzetten op verdere groei. Onze vestiging in Lummen koopt NiniX Technologies (Brugge) over.

Kantoor Portugal

ACE opent nieuw kantoor in Porto, Portugal.
