Experienced PLC programmer Mechanical engineering projects
What will you do?
As an Experienced PLC Programmer, you will work on a wide range of machine‑building and automation projects. Your main responsibility is PLC programming (optionally including robotics), and you are involved throughout the entire project lifecycle: from engineering and start‑up to commissioning at the customer’s site.
- Developing and implementing PLC software for machine‑building and automation projects
- Optionally programming and integrating robotic applications
- Involvement from the engineering phase through start‑up and on‑site commissioning
- Creating and maintaining technical project documentation
- Working in a team on larger projects
- Independently executing smaller projects
- Deployment across various machine‑building projects for different customers
- Reporting progress and results to the project leader
What do you bring?
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering or Electromechanics, or equivalent experience
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in PLC programming within machine building
- Solid knowledge of Siemens PLC systems (TIA Portal) and HMI programming
- Experience with frequency drives, positioning systems and safety controls
- Knowledge of safety systems such as Siemens Safety and PNOZmulti
- Familiarity with applicable standards and the Machinery Directive (CE)
